It’s all about patient safety. Nothing is more important than patient’s safety in hospitals and nursing homes. And which technology is best equipped to offer the best possible safety measures in this regard. Well, no prize for guessing. It’s RFID again. One of Bangkok’s largest healthcare institutes, Bangkok Hospital, is studying a pilot project on RFID based technology to implement in its safety for patient program. If everything goes at par the plan the hospital chain is all set to fully implement RFID to its 13 hospitals spread all across Bangkok in the next 36 months.

Bangkok Hospital by deploying this technology would be able to intensify the level of care and can store patient specific critical data (like allergy) in knowledge bank.
