Confidex has joined the BRIDGE program. BRIDGE stands for Building Radio Frequency Identification solutions for the Global Environment.



It is a part of the initiatives by the European Commission to conduct research, development, training and demonstration in the effective use of RFID technology based on EPCglobal standards.



EU will provide $5 million for the three-year BRIDGE Program, which includes 31 global organizations. The BRIDGE project aims at the transformation of RFID technology from being an identification technology to an EPCglobal based product information network.



Finland-based Confidex, a company specialized in designing RFID products for printing and packaging industries would support the activities of the BRIDGE program in the area of miniaturized, metal and dielectric tags.
