Ekahau, the software technology firm and Symbol Technologies, the enterprise mobility company have together unveiled a Radio Frequency Identification solution by which companies can keep a track of the location of inventory and assets. For the purpose, Symbol will blend its industry accepted MC9000 mobile RFID reader with Ekahau’s location-enabling software.



The mobile computer solution from Ekahau and Symbol is meant exclusively for sectors like pharmaceutical, healthcare, government. Also industries that have a strong need for EPC RFID can use the software successfully. This mobile software to show real time tracking of each device will be using existing Wi-Fi networks system. The collective solution from the firms also will improve the role of passive radio frequency tags by tracking the location of the mobile computer.
