Keeping in mind to educate the healthcare professionals with latest of innovations and technologies Medical Records Institute has initiated the annual conference Towards the lectronic Patient Record (TEPR), which gives special emphasis on user experiences. This is going to be the,
the largest demonstration of wireless locating and tracking technology ever in healthcare.
Up to 1,000 TEPR 2006 attendees will be given a RFID tag that will track their location by set “zones” throughout the conference.
The set up will mimic a modern and properly interiored busy urban hospital and the attendees will be able to track departments like “Emergency Department”, “Perioperative Suite”, “Lab” or “Hospital Room”.
