Here is good news for the US policy makers who are facing sharp criticism from the security experts because of the RFID passport idea. The reason as the experts claim is that the RFID passports possess security threat.

However, the Orem Utah-based forensics company Paraben Corporation has developed a nickel, copper and silver mesh Passport StrongHold bag that would block unwanted RFID signals from hitting unopened passports. In this way, the new passport would prevent thieves from accessing the newer US RFID passports, which is to be issued this year.

The passports are kept inside the mesh bag by opening the Velcro-secured sides. After closing the sides, the metal mesh of the bags works like a Faraday cage to block unwanted electronic singles which would be reduced by an average of 85db.

The Passport StrongHold bag appears like a Wireless StrongHold bag, which the Paraben produced last time. The company is selling Passport StrongHold bag for $19.95 each
