Scientists at the University of Leuvenin in Belgium have developed a RFID-enabled tooth which can help with identity management.



The tag is not even bigger than a grain of rice. It fits into your tooth just like a filling. Only, this ‘filling’ can also carry your personal information.





The unnamed device was developed to help forensic scientists identify bodies after natural disasters and terrorist attacks with numerous victims.



During test conditions, the chips withstood normal biting forces and worked even after being heated to 450C and cooled.
