Research and Markets has presented status and future of RFID technology in China.



The leading Asian tiger China have started using RFID technology in 2005. China exploits this latest technology more in non-logistics fields than in logistics. The country has not extensively applied the RFID tech. in the logistics field. However, it has started the experimentation of RFID tech. in the logistics sector.



The Chinese RFID technology is in the developmental process, which requires time to flourish. The country is yet to adopt the application of UHF, which the developed countries use extensively. In Chinese case, it is mainly due to the inadequate knowledge in designing and manufacturing of chip, antenna and other such important equipments.



However, china will be in position to fully exploit this latest technology in near future. Around 100 RFID enterprises are operating their networks in China. Moreover, new firms are interested to debut in this field. These are all positive indications in building China, a RFID enriched country.
