The Next CeBIT computer trade fair for the first time will devote a special exhibition section exclusively for the transponder technology in Hanover, Germany. The forum “CeBIT RFID” will take place on March 9. The forum is being organized by GS1 Germany in partnering with Deutsche Messe AG and German Association for Information Technology, Telecommunications and New Media (Bitkom).



The RFID event within CeBIT will offer lectures by experts, case studies and panel discussions on critical topics such as trade logistics, aircraft designs. The objective of the forum is “to communicate expertise and current trends in a compact manner while at the same time offering a basis for increased interaction between the providers of hardware and software on the one hand, and those who utilize RFID applications on the other.”
