NASCAR and Goodyear Tire Co. launch NASCR Goodyear Eagle Racing Tires with advanced RFID tags. The exercise went off fine and now slew of new races are ready to take part in the new RFID try out. So, forthcoming Nextel Cup, Busch and Craftsman Truck series all are now ready to embrace RFID tag for accurate tracking and better diagnostics of vehicles.
Goodyear for the Daytona 500 event has collaborated with Advanced ID Corporation to install RFID tags in all the Goodyear Eagle tires.
Dan Finch, president and CEO of Advanced ID says, “We are pleased that we were able to cross the finish line with Goodyear and that they chose us to collaborate with them on the development and manufacture of their RFID tire tag,”
