Canada based Smart Tech Communication will deliver a RFID tracking solution to China which is designed to curtail the avian bird flu in the country. Bird flu has become a serious issue in the country as more than 13 billion chickens are affected by the disease. The technology was demonstrated to more than 50 government members, academic and industry experts last week which was conducted in Beijing.



The RTAC-PM (’RFID Tracking Alert Containment and Poultry Monitoring) system has been designed for the livestock - and specifically poultry industry to help governments monitor poultry movement. The RTAC-PM system incorporates leading edge technology and is customized around customers’ requirements with the flexibility to adapt to various types of OEM products.
