Sybase has agreed to supply RFID infrastructure products to the leading supply chain technology company Intermec.



California-based software company Sybase will provide its RFID Anywhere middleware to Intermec. The middleware has been designed to automate the process of developing and deploying RFID applications and networks in the supply chain.



It is also a platform fulfilling the physical requirements of the technology and enhances the ability to simulate and troubleshoot production RFID environments.



Intermec will use the software in supply chain tracking hardware including mobile computing, barcode printers and label media.
